Start from ready position - "Palgae 6 - 19 movements sir!"
- Look to the left first; Go into knife hand middle with left arm, right hand at the solarplex, cat stance.
- The center of the palm should be along your center line.
- Rear leg front kick; Pull right hand to hip as you kick; middle punch with right arm; wide front stance.
- Turn head to the right and look over right shoulder; Go into knife hand middle with right arm, left hand at the solarplex, cat stance.
- Rear leg front kick; Pull left hand to hip as you kick; middle punch with left arm.
- Reach your left fist over right shoulder, turn left 90 degrees into down defense with left arm, right fist at the hip, left fist over left knee, wide front stance.
- Cross knife hands at right hip with right hand over left, go into knife hand strike to jaw, blocking head with left knife hand just over left temple.
- Swivel on ball of feet as you bring both hands to hip so you can use the hips for power strike.
- Go into this position IMMEDIATELY following the previous one.
- Rear leg front kick, bring both fists together at the left hip with palms facing down, go into reinforced defense with left fist at right forearm. Step forward with right foot at 45 degrees to the right, left foot just behing right heel, knees bent and hips and shoulder faccing forward. KIYAP!!
- Reach up over right ear, turn 270 degrees into knife hand down defense, cat stance. (Again be sure to have right hand palm facing up at the solarplex).
- Bring both (knife) hands to right hip, right crossed over left, bring them up towards chest (palms open), make a fist as you break lapel grab, stepping into front stance. Elbows and wrists should be at same distance apart. Wrists straight like a punch turned slightly at 45 degrees Do not have elbows sticking out!!!
- Go into this position IMMEDIATELY following the previous one.
- Rear leg front kick bringing right hand to hip as you kick keeping left arm in place. Middle double punch (lightening fast!!) with right first after you step down.
- Turn right 180 degrees into knife hand down defense, cat stance.
- Bring both (knife) hands to left hip, left crossed over right, bring them up towards chest (palms open), make a fist as you break lapel grab, stepping into front stance.
- Go into this position IMMEDIATELY following the previous one.
- Rear leg front kick bringing left hand to hip as you kick keeping right arm in place. Middle double punch (lightening fast!!) with left first after you step down.
- Turn left 90 degrees into knife hand middle, cat stance.
- Cross knife hands at right hip with right hand over left, go into palm strike, blocking head with left knife hand just over left temple. Go into front stance.
- Go into this position IMMEDIATELY following the previous one.
- Rear leg front kick; middle defense with right arm into front stance. KIYAP!!!
- To get into this position, bring right fist back over right shoulder, facing out as you recoil the front kick.
- Rear leg front kick; upper defense with left arm into front stance.
- Rear leg side kick, (hold the chamber for 1/2 second in order to make sure the kick is straight); reach back as you recoil, step into knife hand middle with right arm.
- Turn 180 degrees left into knife hand middle with left arm.
- Helpful hints
- Snap all knife hand blocks.
- Kick and punch hard, with power and speed.
- Lock out rear leg in front stances, keeping the stance wide and pointing the rear foot to the front.
- Keep both knees bent and sit low in all cat stances distributing weight 70-30%, with 70% on the rear leg.
