Today, David and I were practicing together, and the instructor gave us more attention than usual. I took away several useful things from class that I want to write down here so I won't forget them.
In our pad work pattern we need to take two steps during the bob and weave, and be properly positioned for the hook to we can pivot into it for power and not have to reach.
In the cat stance basics, it helps to place your forward foot actually facing forward when your feet are together and you are getting ready to get into cat stance.
For 8 step blocking pattern we studied the attacks necessary for steps 7 and 8. The counter punches for 7 and 8 are always first from the hand opposite from the leg that you have raised, and you put the leg down before you punch.
